Blizzard of 2010!

I had to go to a conference for work in D.C. this past week. I had been looking so forward to this trip because I knew that I would get to see Rose and Chris, and Aunt Iris and the Szabo's. BUT unfortunely mother nature was not aware of this or apparently did not care...After crazy flight changes Molly and I made it there, and except for a few little occasions... there we stayed! I did not get to see any of the family! :( I kept telling Molly that we were witnessing history...how exciting! We really did enjoy the trip and the snow, and thankfully (unlike many of our colleagues, who were stuck till Monday because Jackson had alittle snow) were able to make it home Friday afternoon.
These are stairs, I had no idea THANKFULLY Molly noticed....
It was coming down!!!

Too much T.V.??

Ike and I have been recovering from the holidays...AKA... been lazy lately! Here is how we have been spending our nights... Yes...we are all three sharing one recliner and yes there are two of them! But this is the way I like it! :) The other night Ike and I got a taste of watching things for your children. All of our friends with kids tell us how they watch Mickey Mouse club house and such shows all the time for their children. Well the other night we started watching The Princess Bride, we forgot it was alittle goofy, and we would have turned it off but this is our little K-9 child....
Needless to say we watched every minute of it!

Tempting...

A great friend of ours, Lauren "York" Tucker, has been in town for a few weeks. She and her husband Paul had baby in November! Johnathan Wiley Tucker! He is such a sweet baby! The other day Lauren and Johnathan came to visit us. Johnathan was so good. He made having a baby look like a piece of cake...and Ike is a natural!

Then on Monday I got to meet Bain and Kellie Nickels new baby, Ross Baker. He was also, sooo sweet and good. Looks so easy...then again I still got to go home and sleep through the night :) These two sweet babies did make it very tempting through!

New Year's 2010

This post is WAY over due...These are the traditional pictures from New Year's.
A girl shot .... Me, Lauren W., Stacie, Lauren T., Jennifer, and Emily
And a Guy's shot (a little blurry this year...not the photographer I am sure)
Brooks, Clint, Kyle, Ike, Rob, and Brian

I have posted about New Year's before...but this is something we do every year. It started out mostly just a bunch of friends and has gone through all the phases... to this year everyone was married or engaged. (Congrats to Emily and Brooks... who just got engaged). So much fun!!!

Christmas holidays!

We had a great Christmas week. It kicked off Monday, Mike and Emily (one of my roomies), came and spent the night with us. It was alot of fun!! I cooked dinner and we played games. It is always so good to see them and spend time with them. We seem to be in the same place right now with alot of things so it was nice to get to talk. I did not get one single picture of their visit, so unlike me!!! Then on Tuesday Rose and Chris came into town and Ike and I went to stay with them at the Andrew's most of the week. We are so blessed with 2 great families! We had a great Christmas with both! The pictures are from Christmas Eve with celebrated with both families.

Buster's Christmas presents

We gave Buster his Christmas presents alittle early this year because he spent the holidays at his Mamaw and Papaw Richardson's house. Mom and Dad were not at home since his auntie Rose and Uncle Chris were in town. So he got a santa suit, a rather large Raw hide bone, and lots of treats. He loves these bones and when we saw this we thought it was perfect! We were not sure if he would chew on it but he definately has been working hard on it! He is to much fun!

The Best Husband!

Ike is so great! I wanted us to take a christmas picture and since we were all dressed up for his christmas program I thought that was the perfect time....which means he dedicated MUCH time to this process. The poor guy! I keep saying just one more...he said, "you say that everytime" :) One time while I was setting the timer I accidently took a picture instead and I caught this face on Ike...
Doesn't he look excited! :) We FINALLY got one I thought was okkkk :)
