Having two can be challenging, and just when we thought we had this thing down our world was rocked again.  But I have to say, I LOVE it!  These two are becoming the best of friends, and things are double the fun for sure.  Both of these boys are just what we needed at just the right moment. Praise the Lord.
Here is a peak into our little world and an attempt to catch up...even though Christmas is still not posted yet.
A double stroller best money spent.  I feel like I have some flexibility to take them both places.  They love being beside each other.
Baths are getting more and more fun!
Brant and Paw.  He loves his Paw (and tractor rides)
Uncle Crispy and Auntie Rose made a stop in to see us!

Playing together and sharing.  Brant is such a sweet brother and is always willing to share with Spence.  I let Brant get his own fruit snacks out of the box...every single time he gets a pack for him and takes Spence a pack.  It melts my heart every time!
Brant likes to be sure Spence has toys to play with....
They both love to hang out on our bed...

We love the park, and our little dare devil already climbing monkey bars!
Supper time is easier now that Spence is eating food too.
Daddy had to take care of the sickly boys...

Meme and Paw came to visit us...  The boys were both tickled to see them.

Look at those cheeks..
Daddies' boy...Spence loves his daddy!!
Where we spend a lot of our time....

Hanging out with sweet friends.

We are eat up with these two...

Thank you, Lord for these blessings.

Well it is February I have yet to do my highlights from 2014.  I think I will let the pictures above speak for the highlights.  It was a wonderful year!  I could not be more blessed with a husband that goes out of his way to make me happy, and is the best daddy ever.  We are both so blessed with two of sweetest little boys you can imagine!

I am going to be an AUNT!!!

I JUST realized that I had not posted this!  My sister and Her husband are EXPECTING!!!!  I have mentioned before that they have been trying for a while.  My sister has PCOS and was told by a specialist that she would not be able to get pregnant without IVF, and even then her chances were slim.  She and Jason decided that was not the route they wanted to take and started looking into adoption.  This video was them telling us they ARE expecting about 2 months after the doctor visit.  To say we are excited is an understatement!!! I am so happy to be an aunt and for my boys to have a best friend, cousin!  He's name is going to be Kyle and he will be about 11 months younger than Spence so I think it is just perfect!  We can not wait!!!

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving feels like so long ago, but I wanted to document it here to some degree…

Rose, Chris and Sam came home the weekend before Thanksgiving so we celebrated with the Andrew’s on Sunday.  We miss these guys terribly.
These two are two peas in a pod!!

Ike and I had to go back to work Monday-Wednesday so we headed back Monday morning.  The boys stayed so they could spend some more time with everyone.  I think they had a blast…

When we came back the boys and I were able to hang out with the Jones’ girls!
Are these two not the sweetest thing you have ever seen???
These two right here... JUST alike!!

Then we spent some time with my family on Thanksgiving
Spence with my mamaw for his first thanksgiving and
Brant on his first of many tractor rides with papaw
Then after thanksgiving my parents kept the boys so me, Amanda, and Jason could hit up some sales.
Ike did some hunting and the boys and I spent a few days in Tupelo with Amanda and Jason.
Brant's first carousel ride
We had a blast!  Spence was done.

We had a great Thanksgiving.  There is no doubt we have been so blessed this year and have so much that we are thankful for.

Spence 6 month update

6 Month update!
  • Weight: 19 lbs 3 ozs
  • Size: diaper-4 and 9-12 month clothes
  • No teeth!  But working hard on getting them!
  • Sleep usually 7-4:30.  Great at going to sleep on his own.
  • LOVES :
    • Brant
    • nursing
    • Daddy
    • reaching for stuff, busy busy boy!
    • snuggling
    • The fruit feeder
  • Dislikes: getting dressed and cleaning his face... those are really the only two things that upset him
  • Rolling every where!  and is officially sitting up.  Christmas eve he started sitting without assistance.
  • Food:  Loves to eat!  He has jumped right in and is eating all three meals basically and still taking all of his bottles or nursing.  He still spits up a lot.  Bibs and burps clothes are a must for Spencey!
  • Still waking up about 4:30 hungry.  I did some reading and I think we need to continue this feeding for a little longer because he does seem hungry.
  • I read back over Brant's 6 month and to see that I was DONE with nursing at this point.  Spence seems to like nursing much more than Brant did so I am shooting for a year this time.  So far he is only taking breast milk, no formula.
  • Spence is always smiling!  Very very happy boy!
SUCH a HUGE Blessing to us!!
