I am offically becoming like my mother....

I just felt it necessary to say that I sound like my mother, after that last post it hit me...I used give my mom such a hard time for having more pictures of her flowers and the dogs than us....oh now look at me!!! :)

Everything is blooming!!

I absolutely love this time of year. It is warm but not so hot you can't stand it and everything around is blooming!!! Our azaleas bloomed so good this year I was super excited!! I know our neighbors think we are crazy but every afternoon we take a stroll around the yard to see any new blooms! Saturday when the weather was so nasty I realized I didn't have any pictures of everything blooming and I wasn't sure they would make it threw all that so, I ran outside and snapped a couple (I had to document these...this may be the only year we get to enjoy the flowers after all, who knows what next year will look like for us). I also got a picture of the clouds just north of us, no one tell my parents, who were calling every few minutes to see if we were in the bathroom as instructed.
Please notice the blinds up in the window above....That is the room directly across from the bathroom and Ike insisted that we leave those up so we could see out, my little storm chaser!!
The end of the house finally finished!
I am soo glad that we missed all that!!!

Birthday celebration

Ike and I went to Tupelo to eat for our birthdays Saturday night! Ike is so sweet, he knows how much I love to get dressed up and go out to eat, and it really has been way to long since we have done that...School keeps Ike so busy! But I am so excited he will not be in class all of May so we can play....(except for the GMAT!)

Latest obsession...

For a while there Ike and I were obsessed with Bones, we have apparently seen almost all the episodes and we really like to have something on DVR to watch whenever we do have time to watch TV. So one day I recorded one of the Criminal Mind episodes, and we have been hooked since. Ike was a little surprised because there is absolutely no love story (there is kind of in Bones). Anyway we love this show now, it comes on 3 channels!!! So we usually have plenty to catch up on! So while I am totally fascinated by profiling, the show has put me a little on edge. Now I find myself over thinking little things, and checking the door several times before I go to bed or leave the house, sometimes I have a little trouble going to sleep because I hear the ice maker or something....last night I put clothes in the dryer before bed, BIG MISTAKE...took forever to go to sleep because I kept hearing them! SO WEIRD! Ike is not phased at all!! I tell you all this and you are thinking just stop watching but I can't I really do love this show!! Maybe I should go back to school and become a profiler! :)

Happy Birthday to us!

It is funny the things I get excited about now.... Ike and I got a sidewalk for our birthdays...Along with all the "fixings" our yard needed. I have been dying for this since we moved in. We spent the entire weekend working on getting the yard back in shape! What a great birthday!!! :) Here are a few pictures!
This was our yard when we first moved in... FYI that is grass up by the house not a single shrub..
This is it now!!!

Update on the Andrews

I had no idea that it had been so long since I updated! We (especially Ike) have been really busy! Here is the latest...
We will start with Ike ....he left the bank at the first of the year to go back to school full time!! We are so excited about this, and it was amazing how God worked this all out. He is going to MSU to get a master's in Accounting. He is also working for the same organization as me in the accounting department in Starkville! So he is taking a full load and working 30 hours a week, and has unbelievable amounts of homework! I know he is tired but he is doing really well. I am extremely proud of how dedicated he is and how hard he is working! I am a lucky girl!
Me- I have just been busy with work, nothing new or exciting! :) I did get to travel to Hattiesburg for work and while I was there I got to visit with 2 of roomies from college, and I got to go to a baby shower for Amanda. Congrats to Amanda and Walter who just welcomed baby Walt!!!
Buster- He is doing good. We have recently started letting him stay out of his kennel while we are at work. He has done good for the most part. He was acting a little sad for a few weeks so we got him a new friend to have during the day.....He loved it, but for weeks I would come home to this.....

One of Ike's friends Justin Carter also recently got married and Ike sang in the wedding. We will miss wedding weekends now that most all the friends are married. It is always fun for everyone to be in the same place and just hang out!!
The Happy Couple!
This tradition for the boys to REALLY get each other on the way out! This is the guys (and some girls, ha) preparing for the exit!
They see the car, which they totally expected!
Not so sure about this!
Poor Justin! All in good fun and Justin took it like a champ!
Us at the Wedding!

Ike and I were both in Living Pictures again at church this is always a lot of fun and such a blessing. Here are some pictures from Easter Sunday.

The four of us!
me and Ike!
Me and Candace!
The boys arm wrestling...there is always a competition with us Andrews!

Then they thought we should too!
Oh and during Living Pictures we got to see Lee and Mary Nickels who are also expecting!!!! This is for Rose to see Mary! She is too cute!!!
That's it for now! Life is good! We are still here! :)
