Brant lately

Brant Man!

He's so silly!  And he loves to tell us.."Momma, I silly"

He LOVES to be outside!!!

Ike will hate that I posted this but it is just too funny not to!
Such a little Ike!  He had this car two days before he said he needed to wash it!

Woody is his current favorite!
He's a momma's boy if there ever was one!
He has figured out the art of making faces at the camera!

Brant is your typical threeanger!  He can be the sweetest child in the entire world, and then all the sudden flip a switch!  He can be quite the little moodster!  Ike and I will joke...oh no! he's in a mood. But he is so loving.  He is always hugging and kissing on us.  Potty training has gone pretty well, again something that is on his terms.  He doesn't always like to take a break for the potty.  He is very independent and plays well alone.  He does loves his Pencey though, and he is his favorite to play with!  He is super dooper smart like his daddy, and really funny!  He is such a blessing, Ike and I know we are so lucky to be his mom and dad.

Spence Lately

Oh Spencey!!!
His new buddy Jamie!
Loves to eat!
A little snuggle bug!

Riding his horsey!

I told Spence.."no M&M's until you eat.  I look back over and he has moved his food to Ike's plate and says, "eat eat Daddy, mommy M&M pease"

Brant got a new car for birthday.  My parents decided that Spence needed one too.  The joy on this child's face when he saw his car was priceless!  I wasn't sure he would get it that it was his, but oh I was so wrong.  He squealed and said thank you, Paw and Mimi.

Spence is a total clown!  He is pretty much always super happy!  He is definitely like his mother in the emotions department.  He feels and shows emotions to the extreme.  If he is happy he is extremely excited and laughs and giggles!  But if he is upset or sad he is screaming crying!  I love it!!!  He loves attention.  If he can get a laugh out of someone he will do the same thing over and over!  He is absolutely precious and really is the icing on the cake in our family!  God has been so good to us!

Mamaw and Papaw Crews

It's been so long since I posted.  Life has thrown us a few curve balls lately.
My grandmother has had cancer. The doctors decided Mid-April to put both her and my grandfather (her husband) on hospice.  We were aware they both had conditions that were ultimately terminal.  BUT we just KNEW they had at least a good year.  My dad called on Wednesday the next week and said that my mamaw didn’t look good, and maybe I should plan to come home.  By Friday of that week they had admitted her with a blocked intestine, and she was not strong enough for surgery.  I went home to stay the weekend at the hospital with her.  The doctor told my dad and his brothers and sisters they would be making some tough choices soon.  They put in some type of NG tube and said it could POSSIBLY remove the blockage (they did not act hopeful).  The first night she was in the hospital, my 9 month pregnant sister and I stayed with her.  My sister never took her eyes off her all night.  We just knew this was it.  By Sunday, She was up talking and demanding I bring my boys to see her.  It was crazy, and later that week she went home with no blockage.  She wasn’t 100%, but better.  Just a testimony to her strength and The Lord’s timing.  In the midst of all that my papaw realized she was not doing well.  I truly believe he was determined to go on before her and he did shortly after this.
May truly brought a whirlwind of emotions for our family.  My grandparents passed away within a week of each other.   I love these two so much.  I am thankful for the time I had with them and all the memories I will forever cherish.

The boys hang out with Meme and Paw at the hospital waiting to see Mamaw because she was insistent that I was to bring them up.

Kid fest!

We learned that our little town has an event called Kidfest every year at the park that we love so much.  I was so pumped about taking the boys.  They had a variety of activities.  I just knew Brant would love it, and we were glad Nana could go with us!

They had a sea lion show!

Spence and Daddy!

Probably one of Brant's favorite things was the bubble pools

Or maybe the Carousel...

Then we had nachos and funnel cake for lunch!  I love some fair food!

Such a good daddy!

Then just to be sure they were good and worn out we went over to the playground.
Sweet brothers!

The Easter bunny was there too.  I thought Brant would freak out, but not at all!  He wanted to touch him.  Spence was just all smiles!

This was Spence on the way home.  I would say we were successful in wearing them out.
