Gatlinburg 2015

Family vacation!  This past Christmas we decided to do a trip instead of presents!  It was the best idea ever!  We had so much fun.  We met in the middle which is Gatlinburg how nice is that!

Here we are on our first stop!  McDonalds.  Can you tell we are so excited!?

We got there a little early so we went to one of the road side fair type things.  My boys really really enjoys this!  I think it was actually one of their favorite things.

The first night Ms. Susie gave us "big kids" a night out.  We went to the new little downtown like area in Gatlinburg called The Island.  It reminded me of a downtown Disney feel.

Our first official day, we just took our time and went to Dollywood's Splash Country.  We had planned to do the after three the next day is free.

One day during the boys nap the four of us went and walked around Gatlinburg.  I sure do miss my Rosie!

We of course went to the Dixie Stampede.  

At one point I looked down and saw this!  My heart melted!

We grilled one night and had some of Mr. Ira's corn. Yum!

This really was such a great trip.  We had an awesome cabin with an amazing set up.  Most of all we loved getting to hang out with these guys!  We miss them so much!

Weekend(s) recap

I have started writing weekend post several weekends in a row and some how they never got finished.  So here you have it a weekends recap instead!

Memorial day was right after Kyle was born so we of course wanted to spend it loving on him and his parents!

PLUS it was time for the boys to meet their new cousin!

Amanda and Jason had so much family visiting that they got us a hotel room.  The boys LOVED it! However, we did NOT sleep great!  Spence was teething so he was up a lot which in a hotel room means EVERYONE is up!

This was our anniversary!  Happy 7 years to this guy!  He is such a blessing from the Lord!

We had a blast and we are all in LOVE with Kyle already!

Spence got his first hair cut!  He was wonderful!  We just had it trimmed around the ears and back a little.

And this guys got a for real big boy cut.  I took this and I was thankful for the paci or I may have cried.  He looks so grown.

Brant's favorite weekend activity is to pile up and watch a movie of his choosing.  He prefers that we ALL 4 sit together, and I love it!

These guys helped me make a pie for Daddy on Father's Day.

Long before Ike and I were ever together I knew he would be a great daddy.  Benefit of knowing him forever.  He's a kind, loving, thoughtful person.  I was not capable of imagining this though...These boys are lucky to have him as their daddy.

I'm so lucky to have this man as my daddy.  He just so happens to also be the best Paw around.

Texas Trip

I really really wanted Ike to get a happy surprise for his birthday.  Ike sacrifices so much for our family.  So when I was thinking what would Ike want more than anything I decided it would probably be time away from us a guy's weekend.  So the Walker's and I planned for us to come out to Texas and Ike and Kyle could camp then hunt and fish some.  It was a great plan!  The boys were great traveling to there.  We did get detoured for a little bit because of a tornado making its way through.  I wish I had pictures of soaking wet Ike and Brant.  We hung out in Walmart and got the boys dry clothes till it passed.  

  

These four played great together!  And the boys came back early they missed us so much.  Great daddies!!
