A few weeks ago our friends Beth and Matt got married! We wanted to say Congrats to them! Beth was a beautiful bride and Matt a handsome groom. I was at the grooms table with all of his AMAZING cakes! They had 4 or 5 different cakes JUST on the groom's table and they all looked soooo good! It was a fun wedding! We love you guys!

Beth with her sweet puppy Macy...I loved the outfit!
Sunday Ike's parents came over to visit us...well after they left I thought it would be a good idea to go grab something to eat and get a movie. I am in love with Nora Roberts movies!! So Ike was like ok sounds good...little did we know this little trip would cost us 4700 dollars!!!! On the way home...on Highway 45 mind you....we hit a deer....came out of NO WHERE!!! across 4 lanes of traffic! For those of you who don't know back in December I tried to miss a deer and totalled the baby corolla! So here we are again...this time in Ike's celica. So I am now a HUGE fan of deer hunting...they are taking over!! This deer did that much damage and we are pretty sure survived...or at least left no traces of being hurt EWE!!!
First of all I had such a great time the past two Mondays I have had a girls night with two of greatest friends Paula and Lauren. Last week we went to Harvey's and this week they came over to our house. It was so fun to all get to talk and catch up! After supper this week my wonderful husband did the dishes for us and then played with Ethan so the girls could chat! I know he loved spending time with Ethan. I just feel so blessed to have a husband that likes for me to be able to spend time with my friends as well! Thanks Ike!
I just had to let everyone know (Jenifer let josh know haha) that we have WHITE cabinet doors and blue walls! This past sunday Ike said we are finishing the cabinets this week...and we did! Ike painted the walls the blue paint color we had bought and it was BLUE...poor Ike I know he got scared because I have never seen such a bright blue on a wall. He said over and over "Do you like it?", which I of course didn't at the time....but I had faith that the pearl stuff would lighten it which it did. They are now beautiful!! I am so excited especially to have cabinet doors. You are all invited to come see them! I will try to post pictures soon of the whole house.
Ike and I are both loving married life. It is so nice not to have to go home at the end of the night...that is our favorite part. Other than that nothing really feels that much different well except the incredible amount of house work that has to be done. I can't imagine what it is like with kids we have more dishes and laundry than you can imagine. And tell me something how in the world do the floors get so dirty with only two people! I have to sweep and vacuum several times a week! :) Ike spends most of his time in the yard working on it ... luckily my sweet daddy gave us a riding lawn mower. I am so thankful that Ike does the yard too because the few times I have helped I realized just how hard that is...so thank you, Ike! But it is fun it feels like we are playing house! :) A picture from our date Saturday night!
A couple of weeks ago we had a chance to go to the river with some of our great friends. We usually do this alot during the summer. Kyle and Lauren have moved to Texas so we will miss them terribly! We love you guys! Thanks to the Winkleplecks for taking us all out on their new boat! The girls! The guys!
