I wrote this post along the way. I'm trying to catch up. I am actually 13 weeks TODAY! So I will hopefully do that post soon with better pictures and the cute chalkboard my friend Molly made for me! I can't wait!
First Trimester Summary!
I am one those people who rarely ever gets sick. So it's not something I really understand. Poor Ike, he has such a weak immune system (better lately), and I have found myself thinking he must be faking it can't be that bad. I am sorry to admit I thought this about pregnant people too. I thought there is no way they are SO tired, hungry, sick, etc... I am eating my words! I don't have morning sickness. I feel fabulous in the mornings, like a new woman! In fact several times I have been up cleaning first thing in the morning. By 2 in the afternoon I am ready to crash! I'm exhausted which I feel like is an understatement. The nausea kicks in about this time too, and don't be mistaken I am still hungry. V.E.R.Y. hungry. At my very hungriest in my pre-pregnancy life didn't come close to this hunger. But with all that I could not be more excited and happy to know this is all for the little baby that is growing. We are pumped!
*****This is for my documenting. I NEVER want to to seem that I am AT ALL ungrateful for this sweet blessing and miracle. It's all worth it!
I waited until 10 weeks to start the weekly updates.....

The belly: It is growing! I think it doubles in size throughout the day! Ike really only sees it at night, and is so fascinated with how big it has gotten. His comments are priceless last night he says, "Wow your stomach used to be so hard now it feels like you have a balloon in there." He says this like it's the greatest thing ever, and can't understand why I would get mad!?!?!
What I miss: Fitting comfortably into my clothes! This weekend we cleaned out the clothes I have already out grown, and it was most of them.

Best moment of the week: This week we worked on baby's closet too, and cleaned out all of our clothes that we don't wear/can't fit in. Still a lot to do in that closet!
